Who Still Believes In The Magic Of Christmas? Keep reading and you’ll see what I mean.
We do a special event for a very special client every Christmas and this year, the boss man’s great idea is a little nuts… but we went with it.
The company is GFB (Georgia Farm Bureau). They are a non-profit organization based here in Macon, GA. They do a lot of good in the community. For example, recently this was posted on their Facebook page, “We are very excited to give back to our community during the holidays with donations to KidsYule Love in Macon. Our home office employees purchased over 150 toys for the Kids Yule Love organization to provide for children during the holidays. All of the toys collected will go to needy children throughout the Middle Georgia area.”
So back to the magic and nuts and who, or should I say Hoooo was invited?
The rich christmas colors compliment our special guests really well. The theme this year is Owls and Squirrels, Bird Seed and Nuts.
Unusual and Unique, this centerpiece features mink proteas, red roses, football mums, bells, of Ireland, kale, snapdragons, hypericum berries, stock, and of course, some tropical flowers like anthurium, and ginger. If you will look closely, you will find the squirrels playing, one hiding in the vase, all enjoying an abundance of bird seeds and walnuts.
On the Mantel you will find more of our night time friends, nestled in fragrant Christmas greenery and pine cones.
We also dressed some extra large poinsettias. All to be given away to some lucky guests at the end of the night.
So here is the big picture.
The best part of this design by Jon Mayer of Lawrence Mayer Florist is that the base of all the table centerpieces are actually individual small centerpieces that each guest can take home to enjoy.
Let’s have a look at that design again.
